Antiparos

Antiparos, is one of the smallest Cycladic islands and lies just one nautical mile from Paros. The island has evolved into a trendy elitist destination with some spectacular villas along its eastern shoreline but also in and around its port.

It is ideal for laid back holidays next to pristine waters on wonderful sandy beaches some organized but many free.

The island’s life is centered at the port which extends inward via cobblestone streets and flowering bougainvilleas with sophisticated bars, cafes and tavernas. The city center is reserved for pedestrian traffic only and boasts streets made of stone that are hand-painted in white.

The night scene is trendy and begins after 12.00 attracting crowds from Paros.

Various lovely organised beaches on its east coast like Apandema or Soros or wonderful coves wait to be discovered. The islet of Despotiko has important archaeological findings just a short boat ride away whilst the turquoise waters at St George in the south mesmerise the passing traveler.

For the active, a 15 minute ferry boat journey throughout the daytime across to Paros, promises to cover all water sporting activities and a lot more.
